English guy needs import advice (again)!

I am likely to be moving to NZ late 2006 with soon to be NZ wife. I currently have a Tuscan but understand they are banned in NZ! Therefore I am considering bringing a new 111R or Exige with me as they are a lot cheaper in UK. As far as I can tell these cars are allowed into NZ without modification from UK spec. Can anyone confirm? Having driven around most of NZ I am keen to bring something fun with me!

I'd just add that you should make sure you've got your costings 100% sorted before deciding. Sometimes cars that look expensive here are expensive for a reason - pandering to the countries often ridiculous importation and certification process!
Having said this, I'd be surprised if anyone buys a Noble at $185,000!

The Turbo Exige I'd imagine would be overpriced compared with what you gan get one done for over in the UK? Roger is reknowned for sticking HUGE margin on his products.... PM PH user "drac" (Andy) he has looked into the Exige turbo kit here in NZ and has some info on it regarding the pricing etc
As for joining us, we'll certainly look forward to having you... the NZ clan grows almost weekly now with more UK ex-pats coming over
