Mmmmm SR8 droooool... there's supposed to be a video floating around of the SR8's record-breaking run around the 'ring.. that'd be impressive!

That's what you get for trying to download Car-Porn at work.

The IT-Nazis are comin' to get you.

Can you not get to the thread (the link I gave is to a thread on the Radical PH Forum) ?
Or not dowload the vid ?

Well I can't see any of them getting into the Super GT category as they change the rules on a random-per-car basis!

As much as I like the XTR2 a Radical with the same powerplant would be a tad quicker around a race circuit - it's been proven time and again. Of course they are a smidgen more expensive and if the title of this thread it to be taken literally, common too!

Who's getting the Ultima? Bast*rd, don't they know I want one? I should be first. I should, I deserve it! I've been a good boy.... Oh, pleeeeeease!

Well not to be sore about this . . . but . . .

The factory Radicals do have a better build general quality and finish. They also have a better aero package.

There is a fairly substantial weight of opinion however that spec-for-spec the XTR²'s handle better.

The thing that fries my noodle is that in all of these spec-for-spec comparisons it has turned out later (and sometimes even during the tests) that the Radical has not been entirely at the proposed spec. Sometimes this has been track-only tyres with tread cut to look like the road equivalent, but check the codes and they are not road-legal. Sometimes it's been engine upgrades or something else.

The point is - If Radical is so conviniced that their car is better (and it may well be) why not submit it to a true side-by-side, spec-for-spec comparison.

As for "Of course they are a smidgen more expensive . . ."

"Look at the size of that Smidgen !!!"

Maybe if there roughly the same spec as yours, you could have a run with them and compare.....Oh hang on I think they'll mostly be track fiends as intended and getting the t1ts thrashed off them, not kept in the garare being polished every week..dam...

Hey, my Westie might live in a garage but it doesn't get polished every month let alone every week

I also carry a significant weight penalty , . . . and yes my nana could drive rings around me.

They may well give me some good ideas for upgrades though
