Girl Racers: We're looking for women who spend more money on their cars than they do on their clothes. We've heard about the boy racers but what about the growing number of young women spending their money on machinery to rival the boys? If you're one of them we'd like to hear from you.
If you can help with any of the above please contact us at 20-20@tvnz.co.nz or phone us on 09-916-7296.
Sorry Kylie but I couldn't resist.
I presume they're after a pile of fried-rice with a polished blow-off valve and a $12,000 stereo.
Quality British and German machinery, costing real money and delivering real performance, would only confuse them.

Hehe I'd put my name forward if I was you too Kylie
There's plenty of young ladettes out there with plenty of bling but a girl with a Lotus Esprit, now that's just class.... I remember back when Kylie first joined PH I was like "PHWOAR!... a girl with an Esprit... this I HAVE to see"..... I mean come on... that's the stuff of schoolboy fantasy

Gosh :bigbrightredcheeks: Damm I have been singled out, now what can I dig out
Well let’s just say yes I USED to give the boys a good run/race for their money in the Toymotor as it was decked out!!! God I didn’t think id ever say that! I think I could have been a ricer and possibly qualified for this thing your talking about…..arrrhhh! But sorry not now...?
In my late teens and early twenties, it was drink copious amounts of alcohol, have the best designer wardrobe in town, the rest of your hard earn't money for car goodies and of course a few thousand litres of gas. NOWDAYS…..gosh where’s this heading….well basically when I tucked into my first home loan at 24yrs, the MR2 was traded for a sensible wagon BLAHHH!! You nearly hit 30 and the midlife crisis comes along and reminds you of the devil you used to be… So you keep the wagon, the husband oh and house, then buy something arguably better than a rice racer you once had . The funds today unfortunately are spread pretty much evenly on all including reasonable labelled clothes and partial to nice shoes. BUT have I told you about my new carbon fibre engine lid and getting the carbs tarted up for this summers driving. You think I am joking…not
I think its something us PH’ers will always have male or female, you were either introduced to fast loud cars as a kid or not. For us it weren’t an option.
In fact mums been deciding which used beemers the one to go for next
