Esprit's is in the Hawke's Bay but coming to Auckland soon IIRC. There will be some down there, its just a matter of finding the best way of contacting them.

Thanks for your help guys! I was trying to track down an e-type owner cos my Ma is resident in CH CH and has a mad passion for E Types. She is 67 next weekend and I would lve to help her live her dream with a ride out in a Jagwaaaar!

I drive a 10 year old XJR saloon ( 4 litre supercharged with 320 BHP ) and if you guys ever get a chance to drive one, take it and revel in the 'grace pace and space'! Slater

Unfortunately my father's car isn't quite far-south enough and is still on the wrong (north) island. There's a place down there called "upper classics" that have a couple I think... they're a restorer and seller of classics and I THINK they (being a private collection) sometimes do rides for a fee.... do a google on them, you should be able to find a website or phone number.

After being sick and tired of the thing being built in the garage for seven years, my mother finally got to have her first proper ride in the E-Type the other day.... and she didn't like it! some people eh? :P she'll come round
