Salty Dog Run - Club Lotus

Hi all just a reminder for all Lotus Club members on here. Theres a small run this Sunday morning (11th Sept)

Its a fun run up to the Salty Dog at Snells Beach. Meet at North Harbour Stadium, Appian Way (just off Oteha Valley Road) at 11.00am, for a casual drive up to Snells Beach.

Has anyone ever done an Isle of Waiheke TT type event ?

It's certainly an island but I don't know whether there's a good route.

No roads arent too kind for my type of car. Friends did a hot rod rally cruise over there and there were several complaints from low front ends bottoming out on twisty uneven roads. I would suspect you would have some issues too.

I suspect that unlike the Isle of Man, an open road on Waiheke has the normal 100km speed limit
