Is it just my warped mind, or has anyone else seen the humour in the Winston Peters billboards now that there's talk that his "seat" is in danger?

I think if we're after correct biblical attribution he's either :

The new Moses parting the Cook Straight

or

The new Jesus about to walk on water

or

The new Michael Jackson about to moonwalk backwards into the sea

I see mine is not the only mind that's warped!
By the way; winston peters=risen town pest or, if you prefer=is town serpent. meanwhile, the national party=intolerant apathy, or as Brash would no doubt prefer, Apathy intolerant

Remind me never to stand in front of Winston when he's got a knife in his hand.

. . . or a blunt spoon . . . or any kind of gardening tools for that matter ! ! !

It's getting really messy. Anyone would think Winston was behind in the polls.

Well.... since you asked so nicely Hehe nah he's far from being my most hated NZ politician... just can't see why people vote for him is all..... sounds like he's all washed up anyway

As for passing 3k posts, that's brilliant We are THE most active international PH forum (by a long way) and are more active than a good deal of the home counties.... not bad considering our PH population disadvantage!

we're nearly 400 posts ahead of caterham

and who's sitting on Winston? he's probably a better option than that Tamaki fulla anyway. or the greens for that matter.

edit to add: this doesnt mean I like winnie, just that some others are worse.

I don't think that Tamaki fella from Density Church is standing for Density NZ.

His team are but I don't think he could suffer the pay-cut.

So, if Winnie is known by all the Wellington taxi-drivers as The Minister for Courtney Place, what would Bishop Brian be known as ?

Or possibly The Minister for Hair-Gel, Tooth-Whitener & Leather Jackets

. . . maybe that's the same thing.

but he doesnt call himself a minister (or a pastor) anymore, he likes 'bishop' instead . maybe if clarkie gets in again she'll decide she doesnt like the title 'prime minister' and decide to call herself president. heres hoping we don't have to worry about it...

on a slightly more serious note, quite alot of what tamaki & co believe I agree with, its just the way they go about it that pisses me off. really does give the rest of us christians (the more balanced, reasonable ones) an excessively bad reputation.

Good point Ben.

I suppose it's not too dissimilar to Boy-Racers giving all other reasonable Automotive Enthusiasts a bad reputation.

Irregardless (Sorry just had to get my favorite Bushism in there) of who each of us support, make sure you get out and vote on Saturday.

Then we can feel fully justified in ripping into the bunch of 's for the next 3 years when 'due to completely unforeseeable circumstances' we end up not getting our tax cuts.
