Afternoon guys and gals (and what a lovely one it is). Just curious as to whether anyone has taken part in one of these guys' rally weekends?

My father's 60th is fast approaching... and I'm fast running out of ideas. If anyone has taken part, or knows of anybody who has, I'd love to hear their thoughts / opinions. Cheers.

Back on topic, if you were after something closer to home there's always the BMW Driver Training day at Pukekohe. Its their international programme however because it is hosted at a track you get a few extra things like some fairly quick laps around the track and at the end of the day some hot laps in a CSL with a GT3 cup championship driver. Its all in brand spankers 330i Beemers. I just did it today as my birthday present (my old man was shouting me though!) and it was the best rush I can remember. Its not only fun but has quite a few practical elements for your daily driving. Its not just for BMW owners either, its open to the public as well. Your nearest BMW dealership can probably put you in touch with the organisers. I have forgotten their website sorry!
