So this is where the NZ action is!

I shuould be motoring around Wellington region in an S1 111s in a couple of weeks once the car clears customs etc.

The car is Nautilus blue with a hard top. Modifications include S2 dampers, 4-2-1janspeed, manifold and exhaust, Hurricane Induction kit, Elise parts gear linkage and when the rest of my personal stuff arrives a 160 throttle body, a sports cat, full harness set and 340r seat runners.

That should cover it.

If anyone wants drawings of the ball joint removal tool I'd be happy to e-mail them.

Hi
welcome to Nz
with so many of you guys being down there in windyville, maybe a pistonheads gathering at taupo would be the go?-also a more suitable track for little squirt cars like Elise/Fraser/ Maybach (joke!)

Yeah, I was just thinking there must a quite a few PH'ers around Welly now. SWMBO has been making noises about seeing Taupo, so I could drop her off at the lake and head for the track!

Or even just a casual meet-up somewhere near Welly for a bite to eat and a beer or two?

Hi Dean

Yep finaly arrived at begining of August. The car should arrive Sept 6 and clear Min of Ag. fairly soon after. Thanks for all your advice. The insurance quote was 540 dollars for 8000kms from classic car cover. I've bought a personalised plate "BUZBOX" for the car.

Had my first day at work today for fuelquip as a draughtee.

Yeah, Like Dean's said, we'd be happy to share a pint with you up in Auckland when you're up picking the car up.... If you're up here for more than just the one night we could organise a little jaunt in the countryside or something for you... nice way to enjoy the first miles in the Elise on NZ roads

Hi there and welcome to the forum, hope you enjoy the NZ roads in the Elise. Am sure those winding hilly roads round the Wellington region will give you plenty of fun.
