Do you guys have car meets out in NZ??

Just a quick one as I am coming over to your wonderful country from Sydney in December and into January 06.
Just wondering if you guys have any car meets out there or can suggest any other meets that would be worth a look.
I heard about the large scale fast drives out of major cities, led by a very famous Viper in the case I read about!
Just wondering what car stuff to try and see and what driveouts may be on. I will be visiting all the main cities during my trip so looking forward to one or two car things alongside all the other fun :D

Depends what scene you're into... if you're into your jap performance scene then there are "cruises" every bloomin' weekend for those who are that way inclined.... as for the more exotic cars there are often club runs and us blokes (and blokesses)in here have a few runs every now and then as an excuse to dust off the toys and get them out of the garage and on to some twisty roads

Hi sorry for being a bit vague there!
The sort of thing Esprit talks about is more what I like. The cruise scene is the same over here in Sydney with plenty of Jap Rockets out each weekend. I am more interested in the more exotic machinery and simply meeting like minded people who enjoy driving as I do!
