Top Gear Re-run Last Night
Discussion
didn't see it but remember it..... just remember they took the XTR2 time away because it's not a proper road car (can't get over most speed bumps) *ducks and runs for cover*
hehe nah it was a good episode... new Stig certainly does seem to LOOK quicker than old stig... but bear in mind, hwat LOOKS quick and what IS quick is often two different things.

LOL, now that's what I call impulse buying! Do you actually use the Westie on our fair country roads?
Just need to plan ahead for ground clearance, turning circle, and avoiding any reversing back up a grade greater than 1° or 2°. Electric Reverse
Great fun so long as you don't get some Remuera Tractor trying to merge on top.
I only take it out in FINE weather though as I needed to use a drill after filling it up on a rainy day

Pffffft.... reverse! That's why they give you a right foot and a steering wheel
You better be there on sunday.... in some capacity even if it's not in the XTR2... looking forward to meeting ya.
I seem to remember the Radical went around in another six seconds less or something daft than the Westie too!
When are they going to let rip with an Ultima, that's what I'd like to know. They can't use the same excuses for that being struck off the sheet and it'll blitz those prancing ponies and tarted-up beetles.
I bet the new Marcos coupe will be quick around there too, what with 475bhp and a Prodrive developed chassis.
I wasn't aware that the Stig had really changed - I thought it was always Perry McCarthy and still was? If he has been replaced does anyone know who the new chap is?

First time they've agreed about anything
Apparently they think it was a very non-standard Radical and had non-road-legal tyres. Lots of fun either way.

There's a few dozen threads speculating on the New Stig's Identity in General Gassing . . . I've got no clue ???
