Whats the situation on holiday rentals for young Brits in that part of the world.
What age/How much, and whos' best at the moment.

Sons' over there from November, with his mate, both will ne newish (2 years) drivers, at 19

Company I rented from in Auk says you must have held a licence for 3 years, so that'd be 20 for UK peeps, 18 for NZ peeps...

One option if your there for more than a week or two is buy an old banger for $500-1000 and drive that, no insurance needed in NZ (its advisable but not required by law).
