How much is too much to pay..

You could always consider it to be an investment and generate some cashflow from it.
1) Rent it out to members of the Lotus-clan at $5/week
2) Hold a viewing with an entry fee of two bottles of wine (one to drink and one for the host)
This would be more like Chardonnay-flow rather than cashflow

By the way, George I was in the Warewhare in Milford today and they have a double feature dvd of the jag e ty(h)ype(?) and porsche 911 for 6 bucks or so or maybe 10-anyway, pugga-rall
Aah ok... cheers ... I've got an E-Type video that I scored for a few bob from the Warehouse.... it's sponsored by Castrol... I'll have a rifle through their DVD bin next tim I'm in there and have a look.... dad's birthday's coming up too.... although I already forked out 3Hundy on a pukka book on the Lotus Elite S1 (he had one back in the day) purely because it's got the original build sheets and numbers of all cars that left the factory and info on when it was a race car ... am I an anorak or what?!?!? :P

Hmmm. two conspicuous bits of Britspeak in one posting (Pukka, Anorak) You're one of those spies they keep warning us about aren't you? -See that your event is now posted out to all Lotus club (via Kylie, i assume)
Should be huge!
Heh yes, I also have an annoying habit of calling people "guv" and no, I'm not a spy at all *whistles innocently*
Yeah, I'm gonna contact Jim and let him put the word around the TVR boys, and I'll put the word out to anyone else that might like to come along... should be GREAT
