No unfortunately I lined up a few Audi wagons to look at over the weekend, amoungst other things needing attention. Hopefully I will be better organised to go next yr and show support.

If you do go George take some snaps for us

Roger Wilco..... weather's not looking good though... bloomin' typical

Might be weather to stay indoors and try to see if I can improve Lizzy's radio reception. Might pull off the front grille in preparation for sandblasting/powdercoating too.

The Westfield is certainly British . . . but I don't think it's a "Classic"

More importantly I can't get in the Killarney St Car Park without grinding the splitter off

Best of luck with the weather

Had my first crunch in the Elise the other day, thankfully the numberplate grounds first so it's a good warning that your front clamshell is getting close.... just have to go VERY carefully

have fun with the Audi-hunting Kylie!
We've just bought an A6 Quattro (tiptronic with paddles!) Very strange hopping from lo-tech, no-driver-aids-Fraser into all that new-fangled modern stuff. We're still at the "what's that button do?" stage.
Now I've got a convertible to try and flick in midwinter (oops).

Hey cool! What year is it?

Well I found one I liked today and bought it. Its a 97 Avant SE manual in dark green with all the nice trim. NZ new and serviced every 15K by Giltrap Prestige. Everything is pretty much mint and price was right. Meant to be picking up mid week, cant wait!!

I didn't think the A6's had the paddles until '01 and prior to that it was the preserve of the S6's.

Anyway . . . congrats to both, very nice machinery.

This has become a bit more of a German Festival than a British Festival
