Caterhams in NZ?
Discussion
Theres a lot of twisty roads with relatively little traffic which makes for good driving with small light cars
Im not sure about Caterhams specifically but there are a number of Lotus 7 type cars in NZ - Lotus 7 S4s were assembled locally in the 1970s plus there are modern locally built replicas by Fraser Cars, McGregor Motorsport and others

Plus theres Elises, Ariel Atoms and the like

Definitely a few, I've seen the odd one for sale on Trademe, but prices are high. Also some genuine Lotus 7s (as opposed to the huge number of Seven-style cars often listed on Trademe as "Lotus" 7) about. As the previous poster has said, Frasers could probably be considered the local equivalent of Caterham. Leitch Motorsport in Invercargill also make a very good Lotus 7 replica. Chevrons are cheaper but for a reason Many self-built "Lotus 7"s about too.
