Didn't feel a thing here in Dunedin, thankfully..

All ok here, but Wellington CBD closed, so work from home day. Makes you pleased to live 100m plus above sea level. Roads down the top of the east coast of the South Island look a bit munted.

Biggest and longest one I've felt, was like being on trampoline!

Yep, things look a bit sorry further north. Any deaths are tragic, but I guess we should be thankful that there were just two fatalities. 7.5 in some other countries would result in massive casualties.

Didn't feel anything down south here either but friends and family in Canterbury obviously got a bit of a shake around.

Had rolling shakes for about 2min here in chc, nothing damaged, then tsunami sirens for hours.

Yeah, all good in Queenstown. Shoes slipped off the shoe rack but that's all I noticed this morning after sleeping through it.

Feeling a little anxious that there might be more to come and that it happens further south.

Thoughts go to all those affected.
