I'm guessing that these cars will require 98 petrol, so Nelson, then Greymouth BP - they'll have to fill up there. Not sure if there is 98 available in Wanaka or Queenstown - Cromwell is the only place I know of that has it.
Does Cromwell have 98 again now? They used to when I lived there (about 6 years ago), but have only had 95 the last few years IIRC.Can't get 98 anywhere south of Dunedin that I know of either.
Watched that last night and was shouting at the TV about the reporting & comments from the host - so many factual errors!
Cars looked great, even though the director was cutting the shot every second, and had no idea about getting good angles to show these cars off to their best...
but what do you expect from a human-interest story TV show.

Yeah, Cromwell has 98. It's around 20c more than 95 but I think it's worth it. The only problem is I use it inconstantly as I'm not often through in Cromwell. Given the number of higher end cars in Otago there should really be more petrol stations that supply 98. Can't get 98 anywhere south of Dunedin that I know of either.
Not sure how easy it would be to add 98 to the 95 only stations. Assume they might have to put a new tank and reticulation in which is probably cost prohibitive.
