Best /cheapest place to buy tyres in NZ ?

Can any one recommend a good supplier of tyres in NZ - with a good range and good prices preferably with a website I can view etc...

Good luck with that - NZ retailers have (almost) universally crap websites. They might as well just have a page saying "Phone us - we can order it in for you" The only stock they carry will be ages old and for the lowest common denominator. Anything that you ask for that isn't in stock will cost a fortune - the same fortune as if you were to import it yourself - weird that isn't it?

I use Tyres 2 go, they're cheap, fitting is free but they're in Chch and you're in Auckland, try trademe, a lot of the tyre companies list on there and prices are good - what size and type do you need?

Thanks guys. I am looking for 255 x 40 x 19. Funny enough I hadn't thought of good old trademe. Hyperdrive seem to have a good range so might give them a call. Thanks again.

I think the best way is to rock along to a couple and get a price offer, then you can do get down to some old fashioned bargaining - most of them, Beaurepairs included, will at least price match and then it's down to how much they charge to put them on, balance and align them.
