Just wondering if anyones keen, anyone got something organised already etc?
Would be nice to put names to faces, maybe even go out for a drive somewhere nice. Lotus cars perhaps?

I was planning on coming along this time but the Chimaera developed a missfire yesterday! Sod's law I suppose. I think it's sulking because I've just added another little runabout to the stable (WRX).

I'll have a good look around the car this morning but I won't count my chickens. Have a good day guys!

I'd Just like to say thanks to the Auckland TVR guys for the run on sunday.
A great turn out with 5 Griffs, 1 Chim and an S.
You guys made me feel welcome even though I'm not a TVR owner, and despite being a South Islander.

HUGE thanks to Paul for getting me and Esprit along, and a MASSIVE thanks to Andrew for letting me ride along in his Griff.

Talk about an awesome experence.

Yip it was a great day and we were lucky the weather did'nt pack up on us.
I'm still scraping halve my tyre's of the guards.
How did your mirror shots turn out Espirit?
Danz's got some great butt line up shots,(car butt's that is!).

I'm in wholehearted agreement there guys! Was a GREAT day and a FANTASTIC set of roads and the weather even held off. MASSIVE thanks to Paul (nztrev) for extending an invitation to me to attend and also setting up for Izza to join us too, what a lovely bunch of people, lovely bunch of cars, good roads, reasonable weather and even some stalwart TVR reliability (apart from the Chim chewing its rear bags Paul!) Although having said that, did we ever find what made the others pull over on the way back? Hope it was nothing serious! I did get a couple of good shots on the road, I'll post them up once I've had a chance to shrink them down to a sensible size. I'll burn all of mine to a CD and drop them off to you sometime if you like Paul.... I've got all of Owen's pics too.

Was a great afternoon and hopefully once the TR is back on the road (don't hold your breath, your lungs ain't that big) You'll let me join you..... in the spirit of me having a TVR-esque engine at least :P
