Yeah, i was way too wrapped up in it all too. 
The lunchtimeish action on Sunday was beyond chaotic. Rally cars drifting around the grandstand circuit, stunt motorbikes doing burnouts/wheelies/other stuff near the carousel and down the back straight, helicopter flying around, Shotover Jet giving people rides around the lake in the middle of the track, and emptying most of the lake
and a couple of warbirds flying over.
Seriously didn't know where to look, it was awesome!
It's actually the first proper race event i've ever been to (at 30 years of age
),. and was unreal seeing the Ferraris, Astons, Audis etc racing around in person instead of on TV. So gutted there was no Merc SLS there though. Lambo and Viper sounded mean.
I took way too many pics and a few vids, will try get them online soon. Was sitting behind a fence though, so majority of my pics have fence in them. :/
