How could I get one of these in NZ?

This new Caterham looks fantastic.

I am wondering if a Toyota engined Fraser might be a bit more characterful with the torque and N/A engine though. I have looked at the Toyota 86 RC, but it looks a bit uninteresting for what will be a second car.

If you're after a new car, the Caterham makes good sense, you could have it on the road for $40k, but then again you could probably buy a new factory-built, mid-spec Fraser for that. Going used, you can get a good 1600CC, modestly-specced Fraser for early-$20ks so maybe that's the better move.
Frasers actually did this with in the early '90s and exported a number of cars to Japan. See here http://www.fraser.co.nz/2013/08/cappuccino-seven/

Ariel has apparently been down that route too. I saw a photo of a motorcycle powered Atom 1 that was supposedly one of an order of cars produced for an export buyer. They would be a very rare vehicle if you could find one now.Gassing Station | New Zealand | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
