Speed humps on Lower Domain Drive...
Discussion
They look pretty permanent so I imagine that is the end of it. Sad times, I have fond memories of watching motorsport there from back over ten years ago when I was just a young kid watching our friends race a Camaro in the hillclimb, through to ditching classes at university to watch the WRC cars.
Can't think of any other suitable roads off the top of my head. A historic car street race would be a great idea though.

What about the red bull trolley thing? That's still going ahead.
Stupid putting speed bumps in there, how many crashes has there been on Domain drive? I've been in Auckland 11 years now and I can't remember seeing one... especially seeing as it'd be pretty prominent in the herald pulling cars out of the Domain's foliage

So what happens for the Trolley Grand Prix? It's a major event that usually runs top to bottom of Lower Domain Drive and is planned for 10th November 2013?

Some don't have that much ground clearance. They also get a bit of speed on in the lower section. Saw a trolley made from a shopping trolleys crash last time. He leaked claret. Perhaps they need slowing down. The final coners saw a few bent and/or turned over trolleys.

Attended RBTGP yesterday. Fun as always. The speed humps are already in and were a feature of the downhill run. While creating some some spectator excitement with the slower moving trolleys they would make the road unsuitable for high speed hill climbs, in low cars with stiff suspension.
