Which begs the question as to why I would listen to a Comedian OR a Motoring Journalist on the matter :P
Climate change IS serious business, but in my opinion, thinking that mankind has any more than a non-speaking 10-second cameo role to play in it is rather overestimating ourselves.
Climate change IS serious business, but in my opinion, thinking that mankind has any more than a non-speaking 10-second cameo role to play in it is rather overestimating ourselves.
His initial statement isn't right though - he argues as though Clarkson et al state climate change isn't happening, but that isn't what Clarkson objects to. His questions appear to be:
- Is climate change man made or not.
- Is it really a problem.
- If it is man made, is the cost of doing something about it greater than the cost of carrying on as we are.
