Went to their gig in Auckland on Tuesday night.... been my fave band since '96 and had been waiting ever since to get to one of their concerts (missed the last one due to university exams clashing GRRRRR!).

I've been to a few concerts and I can safely say that this wat the most breathtakingly awesome event I've ever been to in my life.... those guys are TRUE performers.... bumped into some people there who didn't even know who they were before the concert walking away saying they were MEGA impressed..... They had a capacity crowd at the St James bouncing like I've NEVER seen a crowd do before...... if you EVER get the chance to see them live in concert, take my advice and do so.... Way Out West were opening for them and that was worth the admission price alone.... th ebest night out I've had in years, possibly my life

..... How is this PistonHead related? Maxi Jazz (lead vocals) races cars, has a Marcos Mantis SC and has a RS2000 Escort that's got some serious power!

Ah ya bastard I wanted to go but for a whole crapload of uni work I couldnt. Glad to hear Way Out West were good, I have some livesets of theirs and of one of the dudes, they're really good. Can burn em to cd if you like (yes they're legal, published to the web recordings too ).

Now while uni work may have stopped me this time it won't stop me going to DJ Sasha on Nov 6... right in the middle of my exams... I just coul;dn't let him come here again without going! Was ripped I missed the AirDrawnDagger tour. Won't miss Involver tho

I'm hoping to get to SASHA too..... like I said, I missed Faithless last time due to university... but not having uni these days is a GODSEND.... just wait til you've graduated sunshine... the people that tell you their uni days were the best of their life were all fools!!!!!!..... life's a breeze post uni... those that loved uni life must have all got BAs and spent the rest of their life in McDs :P

Im hoping uni isnt the best years of my life. Im sick of doing 12 hour days 7 days a week. Where did my life go

But my dissertation is due in 6 days and I finish in 3 weeks so not long to go.

Anyway back to discussing bands Ive never heard of...

Yeah I think my graduation present to myself is going to be a Sierra Cosworth. And seeing as I'll only be doing 40-50hrs a week I'll have time to enjoy it!! It'll be like a holiday, every day hahaha
