I've worked out quite a fun drive that won't include any gravel (accept maybe some road works)

235 km, 3 hours 18 mins there (from central Auckland)

142 km, 1 hour 39 mins return (to central Auckland)

Anybody else able to drag TVR/Lotus/Fraser club members along to make up numbers, as was done in the past.

Also it would be a could idea to indicate if partners are coming so we can advise the destination of expected numbers.

We've been told by the owner that we are welcome to carefully and orderly park on the lawn section at the front of the cafe. Alternatively there is street parking, as well as car parking beneath the cafe/shops.


The plan is to meet at the cafe from 8:00am onwards, with the run departing at 9:30am.
Gator has a route organised that will be revealed on the day.

We're told a major fishing contest is being held the same weekend but there is plenty of parking and the restaurant will be expecting our party around lunch time.

great run though little too much traffic but what can you do on such a nice day.
