I'd imagine it's a Hella unit then eh? Hella are a NZ company (I think) and they do a LOT of that sorta stuff

Don't talk out of your duffle-bag Esprit, Hella are a square-head company!

You would know this if you had ever tried to get anything remotely modern from Hella (i.e. LED rear lights as fitted to the TVR afterburner conversion).

I wonder if we could use the fitment of this part as a grounds for importing the car to NZ? 'I built it in NZ - see!'. Hmmmmmmmmm......

I know Hella certainly have a manufacturing facility in New Zealand.... My friend has a Hella hi-stop in his Evo and that's stamped "made in New Zealand" too.... lord knows why though if they're foreign-owned.... perhaps there's some obscure quality standard they have to meet that actually makes it economical to produce these things in NZ *shrug*

Oh and Afterburners on a Griff *drools*

Yep - it is Hella.

Could be onto something there Jamie "...that's right Inspector, it clearly says "Made in New Zealand" on the bootlid"
