Can anybody advise me on a courier to send 2 cam covers for a cerbera to nz, I sold them on eBay and when shopping for quotes the best I can get is 104£ , the buyer says I should be paying around 30£

All the usual courier companies are expensive.
I've just spent GBP123 (courier cost) for a new clutch via TNT...it is what it is.

Have you tried getting a quote from Royal Mail - as long as it is within their weight/size criteria I've found they're the cheapest usually.

Agree with Royal Mail, as long as its under 2kg.

Can they be sent as excess baggage?

http://www.voovit.com/country/shipping_new_zealand...

If they will fit in their Voovit box (internal dimensions of 565mm x 425mm x 360mm) and the weight is less than 30kg, then this companies calculator says £70.00

If you use your own box the price can jump depending on volume.
e.g.
60cm(l) x 42cm(w) x 36cm(h) - £70.00
70cm(l) x 42cm(w) x 36cm(h) - £105.00
70cm(l) x 20cm(w) x 35cm(h) - £70.00

Also give Parcel2go a try. Got a parcel delivered real quick last week. Unsure of exact costings but no where near the 100 pounds figure!
