the eclipse

I thought it was pretty cool to see just a thin sliver of sun, and it did get pretty dim, even here in Wairarapa (80% eclipse apparently).

I used my welding mask filter to save my eyes - it works very well....

Did anyone else watch it ??

yes was in south auckland was a very cool.

we used welding masks as well was very impressive and the light went very grey almost sureal.

I'm too far south to have seen anything much, but it was cloudy down here anyway.
