Was going to go on sunday but it was pissing down. Agree with george looked like a hot rod show- feature supercar was the Viper ACR, and the live demos were hotrods and drifters.
Its a shame they couldnt time it to be around the WRC- having ken block do a few skids would bring the crowds and you would have everyones attention while motorsport was on their minds.

I went. It was quite a good way to spend the afternoon indoors on such a wet Sunday. Plenty of interesting stuff including new cars, V8 Supertourers, tools, go-fast-gizmos, etc. Lots of racing celebrities including Foggy, Bargs, Jono, Johnny Mac, and Murph; just to name a few that I saw. The hall for the NZHRA 50 Anniversary show was just awesome. Lots of absolutely beautiful machines on display. The partially built car on the Fraser stand was IMO a nice colour scheme. I believe Exocet also had a stand but I somehow missed it. I watched a Porsche being transformed with a cool brushed metal effect vinyl wrap. All in all a good show.
I was there, manning the LVVTA stand in the hot rod hall, busy answering tech questions. The standard of modified cars was excellent and it really added to the rest of the show, which I thought lacked quantity and quality of rare fast cars - a Mazda 2 doesn't fit into my perception of Speedshow!
