The blats are back...

Wed May 16th

Meeting place: Northwood Super Center outside Harvey Normans
Time : 6.45pm leaving at 7pm sharp.
Final Destination :Leithfield historic pub

Only canceled if its raining or forcast to rain while were out.... it may be cold but we have done it before on a cold dark night. as before no boy racers this is not your style, PH'ers get your cars out.

Im sure we can find one or two corners that will suit your car.

So far no rain and its cold, if it stays like this the rest of the day we are still on for a blat to the Leithfield Pub, if your in a open top dress up warm Oscar put the roof on.

Ay it was a nice run and a good turnout with 8 cars, plenty of petrol head talk at the pub and a nice clear run back down the main HWY to town, the next run is in June 13th and more than likley to Little River and back which should stretch the legs of the cars a bit more

Are we on? or are all the 7's being fitted with heated seats?...for that matter the Cerbera might need Traction Control.

I was hoping to have a run organised tonight but we arrived late back from Brisbane yesterday and I have also got Laryngitis which means I cant talk the normal BS and stuff, how about next week Wed 20th ??.

Hi guys

Sorry to say I wont be organizing anymore Wed evening blats as I have been offerd a good job in Brisbane and we leave in August, im taking Grace with me (Lotus 7 replica) and plan to drive the heck out of her over there as soon as I can find some good roads to drive on.

For those that are intrested, im meeting some of the Lotus guys who regulary drive on the Wed night drives at Cashels Brewery on Tuesday 31st from 6:30pm for a catchup and evening drink, if anyone is keen to come along just turn up it would be great to talk some BS for one last time. Cashels Brewery is located on Garlands Rd by Briford trailers.

Im going to miss NZ as I have been here 27 years, but im looking forward to a warmer climate and some decent waves for the longboard, there will be plenty of exploring done in my Grace looking for great roads to drive on and she is going to be my daily driver for a while once she is landed and road legal.

The old Chch blats fell off the radar when Kiwibirkin went to Oz. Anyone keen to resurrect them for the rest of the summer? Once a month on a Wednesday used to work for me.
If there are a few takers, I don't mind reposting with a date and time.
