Hey Kylie...great to hear from you.
Been out and about a little bit, but the weather has been pretty lousy, especially on the weekends.
Johnny (Atom) & I did make some comment that we should have an Auckland PH run....but without you to organise it...its not happened yet...!!
How are you getting on..?

Yeah after sold car finished off a large contract then had a wee baby boy. A future PHer for sure , at five months old now he's making car / motorbike noises . Hehehe cute.
Currently in Sydney finishing off a 10 week job here taking down two expired portainer cranes, then off to ChCh for a year and pull some buildings down there. So yeah been busy but enjoying being a mum. Little Blake is the apple of my eye should of had a littlun years ago oh well.
On the Car front nothing to report yet sorry, dads brand new 2011 Dodge Challenger all Hurst kitted out will make it one of few that will end up here. Arrives in ChCh 6 March, how exciting for him. Other than that I'll have to blag rides in others till I get the time for another beast. Sod it.....

Hi Kylie....You a mummy now?
sure am how time flys along eh!! Had a healthy wee baby boy, named him Blake he's super cruisey and happy even at five months teething like crazy but sleeps through the night so bloody lucky. making the most of him now before he walks then the hard work begins!I haven't been driving much as too busy saving for my wedding etc (less than six weeks to go). And i keep changing jobs, was working at a supermarket, then quit (management were getting to me, and others) and worked at Wood Mouldings for a few months, then resigned and started up as a Postie the next day.
I miss the days of cheep petrol.

Sounds like the wee fellow will be well travelled before he settles into school. I know you said 5 months but 5 and 15 years all come around really fast. Just had my fourth (3rd boy) become a driver this year.
If you do need to tag along on an Auckland run I'm sure there will be plenty of offers of a seat. I'm sure the same will also go for Ch-ch. Looks like they have their act together for regular runs down there.
Yes the damn weather's been great for farmers but not for roadsters. We had to bail before the end of Cannonball this year, before hypothermia set in. KIC was also out of the question the next day. Kids+openwheeler+rain on Pukekohe was never going to be a good idea. Seemed like it was time for a backup blat car so I bought an Aussie burble burble machine.

Wow that's awesome! Where in Welly? You must be wrapped to bits, hopefully a garage to put the bikes and future project in
Its in KaroriStrangely it has two single garages rather than the double it looks like but still plenty of room, one of the garages is 8m deep too.
Had been looking for some time so its good to have one less thing to do (though soon to be replaced with lots of DIY)

Hi Kylie
Your quite welcome to join us on the regular 2nd Wed of the month evening runs in Christchurch when your here, were a pretty friendly bunch and we usally have anywhere from 4-11 cars along for the drive, most runs are for about 1 hour (a bit shorter in winter) with a stop at a pub on the way back for a chat and drink. I started them off to drive with other Lotus 7 owners and extended the invite out to PH'ers when I joined the forum and so far we had a few join us. I post the drive up about 2 weeks before and only cancel if the weather is forcast to rain.
Cheers Stephen
