Dec 14th evening blat Christchurch (last one for the year)

Ok last evening blat for the year and I have decided a route and destination.

Meeting place: Harvey Normans Northood Super Center
Time : 6.45pm leaving at 7pm sharp.
Final Destination :Heading through Rangiora to Loburn and through to Oxford and then back via Cust to Rangiora, we will either stop at the Cust pub or head back to the Montieths Bar in Rangiora for a drink, chat and BS.

Hopefully it will be a fine evening so lest get those cars out . I will cancel here before 5:30pm if its off.

Gezz thats perfect for me being in rangiora, if i can get wof recheck for new tyres by wed, i will be starter.May just pic up the bunch in Rangiora , just on main road out (Ashley st.) near end of 50km area.
Will post again to confirm.

I am going to cancel this and make it the following Wed as the forecast does not look good and the rain has already hit Christchurch.

Yeh next week hopefully a nice forecast, as it turned out the rain went away about 3pm but it still looked dodgy out Oxford way and then went warm about 7pm ish. Mind you im glad i cancelled as if it had turned really bad it would have been the second soaking in 2 weeks in the Lotus.

Nice turn out for the run 6 cars, 3x lotus 7 replicas, 1 Elise, 1, Elan and a TVR owned by Redmist336 (Dainel)

Anyway had a great run out the back of Loburn and to Oxford and back the TVR stole the show with its great sound and crackling exhaust note and gave us a all a big grin factor when it passed us.

Thanks to those who come along and join in I will be continuing them next year and will have one planned for January as im in Christchurch and the weathers pretty good, Merry Christmas guys I have enjoyed meeting new faces this year and hope you come again.

Had an excellent night, great people and a good circuit. I'll certainly attend future fuel burns!
