Cheers Oscar I wasnt sure if it was open or not. The pub at Prebbleton has a quiz night tonight so we will either have a drink at the Little river pub and then drive back or just stop at the old Tai Tapu pub.

Hey - you beat me to it Stephen. I was just about to load my photo and yours was already there.

Yeah - great night for a drive especially the twisty road up to the Hilltop pub (on the way to Akaroa) where the photo was taken. Im not quite so keen on the main road back in the dark though.

Any other PHers in Christchurch are welcome next month.

Do you normally head out the second Wed of the month or is a more random arrangement? Would like to join you sometime, but need more than a few days notice to rearrange my work.

Hi Steve I organize these for the second Wed of the month, started of with the guys on my Lotus 7 clubman forum but started posting the event up here about a year ago as I figured PH'ers would be full of liked minded people with great cars who would like to get them out for a drive.

If you check over at my Lotus7 forums (www.lotus7.co.nz) and look in the South Island section under confirmed events you can see a full list of organized trips that I know are happening or have been planned, I then just cross-post here a week before the evening blat with the details. Most drives end up from 1hr to 1hr 30 mins depending on the route and the evening but its getting a bit harder to get nice roads since the EQ. All the drives leave at 7pm sharp and vary from either meeting on the north side of town (Northwood Supercenter) of by the port hills on Cashmere Rd (Princess Margarete Hospital)

I have no rules for the trips and let people travel at there own pace as its your license...but most cars end up crusing with each other, I have a start venue and an end venue so we can all have a chat and a beer/coffee and get to meet each other or catch up.

The group prefer people who are enthusiastic about cars and really dont want any boy racers along as they dont fit in with the groups profile but my guess is most NZ PH'ers fit in the former category, so yeh please come and join us for the next one and see if its your cup of tea. Its all very informal really.

Oscar your photo is probably a let clearer than mine so post it up.

I had fun following you back to Tai Tapu it took us a while to catch the others who had the jump on us from the Hilltop but we gave it a rather good go at catching them wink. It was much better driving that road in the fading evening light.

So if i happened to be in Chch one day in my Skyline, i could come along then? I'm definately not a boy racer (been driving 11+ years with no convictions ever, not even parking tickets :P).

Of course if your on PH's I dont class you as a boy racer.

What I mean by boy racers is.....well you know the type...attitude, crap looking fast 4s that have no idea about what a car should look like and will have no respect for the guys I drive with.

Thanks Kiwibirkin. I have a meeting in Ashburton on the second Wed of November, but will come along if I make it back in time. If not will be the month after. I certainly don't fit the boy racer bracket either - but would like to meet up with a few more people with TVR's to share some knowledge.

Hi Nick
Its been a while since I saw you - sounds like you need to get out in the Esprit a bit more.

I dont think anything happened in November.
Sounds like theres a bit of interest out there.
The next run Stephen was organizing is Wednesday 14 December so may have to make an effort for that.
