ECU repair for TVR
Discussion
Any recommendations to get my ECU repaired or replaced for a better product. Its for a standard TVR 350i V8.
Currently have an overfuelling issue caused by the injectors being fully open. ECU suspect so need to send off for repair or get a new item. The Elise thread suggests these firms - http://www.ecu.co.nz/ or http://www.linkecu.com/
Got Jim looking into it as well, should I look to the UK or fleabay??

What abt trying a 2nd hand rover V8 one... even if it isn't a TVR specific ECU (you may be able to change the chip over) it will prove a point.
What ECU do you have.. the AFM may be faultly causing overfueling .. as it can't sense the air flow. Could also be the temp sensor.. ECU thinks the engine is cold.. therefore richens the mixture.
I would look at a Megasquirt as an alternative..allows you complete control and easy diagnostics.. so much easier that troubleshooting by guessing. As it's a DIY job, it allows you to learn all about EFI
