Just wanted to drop a note to say that if anyone is thinking of selling their 7, please drop me an email to [e-mail] and I will put it on the Hire7 website http://www.hire7.co.uk I know it can be tricky to sell cars locally, but the website gets quite a few hits from local people interested in 7s, so it may help.

I have put Richard Wilson's (very nice looking) Caterham on, which you can see here http://www.hire7.co.uk/forsale.htm If you know someone selling their car and they can't get pics on the computer, take them with a half decent camera phone and send them to 07577 848578, just remember to include all the details of the car and price.

Reason I'm keen to do this is simple, at shows or when I'm out and about, or even just chatting to customers, people tend to mention that they don't know where to go to see any local cars for sale. Non-Internet using 7ers tend to advertise in AutoTrader, Belfast Tele and the like, and there's no set place to go to for a complete list. I'm willing to list them on the site and anyone who asks if I know of any 7s for sale, I will put in touch with local people.

I'm doing this totally free, although you can pay me if you like . I'll list some other cars too, but only sportscars and similar please.

Just had a wee look at your site. What a great idea. Ive wondered what it would be like to own such a car - now i know how find out before making a purchase.

Thanks very much for the flattery; much appreciated.

We've found quite a few of our customers tend to be people who fancy owning a 7 and either aren't in the position to justify the expense, or just want to have a good weekend in one before they commit the cash.

They're completely addictive...I ran one as my everyday car for a few years.

Definitely be happy to see either of you guys for a day or two behind the wheel.

Willie, I take it there is an age limit for insurance reasons, had a brief look on the site but couldn't see anything.
