I have seen the yellow ferrari f430 reg f4 boj.It is awsome. Well i can defo say it is real. I had a chance to talk to the driver and seen the engine and its real. As for it being a cougar that is not the case, he did say that he bought the reg of a ford cougar as he wanted the reg f430 j As he wanted to turn the (B) into a 3 so it reads F430 J as his name is johnny. So all i can say is sort out the update dvla and give this car the real name.

It takes the DVLA a couple of weeks/months to update at times

But the original thread is 10months old now and that reg is still registered to a ford cougar! and funny enough its a yellow cougar too.

as far as i know only 1 yellow scud in the uk. and its a 2010 car. what might of been seen was a 430 yellow with the scud stripe. however having checked the scud data base nothing shows up for belfast.

Bit of a coincidence that someone named Johnny met another Johhny and checked out the engine etc and knew what car the reg came off. Reg still showing as a Cougar.

Saw this in Tesco at abbeycentre the other week, if it's a cougar then whatever they've done to the exhaust/engine has made it sound fantastic. Even when he was crawling through the car park at about 5 mph it was crackling and banging in a very ferrari-ish way smile

The scud will only pop and crackle on the over run. The 2 stage exhaust only opens and in race mode@ 4500 rpm and in 2nd that is around 50mph

Thats not a real F430!

Clearly does not have the same lines lol, completely off at the rear and round the front window, brakes are too small, and I dare say the wheels are not the same dimensions also!

Frot bumper vents look much smaller on the yellow replica too.

This is real!

have to say real or not it is a nice car and much better looking than when it was a cougar thats for sure. to be honest i find with my customers of certain types of car they do know others who own the same or similar ones. it is a small world when you drive a bright red or yellow Ferrari thats for sure. think i know the Scud you are talking about and its part of a very nice collection. there was a second in Portadown but it has since returned to england.

Sudesh, I am not worthy! I tell you what it's not a half bad for a replica, the MR2 one's etc are usually horrendous! I have to say, it fooled me all the seconds I glanced at it redface
