After a wheel refurb job I now need a new set of rims for the pickup, anyone recomend any sites or companies doing rims for yank cars. Been doing a bit of searching myself but some are looking extortionate carriage charges, or anyone now of a cheap way to get them shipped, any help would be greatly appreciated.
I need 20"x8.5" PCD 5x120.65(4.75) 0-15 offset
Ideally after KMC 701 Nova B's with machined finish if anyone knows a european supplier.

Did you try NuLuk wheels for a refurb ? They've always done a first class job on the 20+ sets of wheels for a friend.

As for carriage, there is no easy option. Ive always struggled to get a freight courier to here, although BAX Global did send some stuff years ago. Last time I tried, they claimed they didnt ship to any Irish airports. Which is weird.

Of all the other couriers I could, FedEx was the only helpful one. Given the cargo, some freight style movements may not have the same level of insurance as courier stuff too. So you need to ask...is it worth it ? Wheels are easy damaged and can go missing.

But for 4 wheels ( if tyres are there too....they often treat that as hazardous cargo, and add more cost !!! ) I'm sure you'll be paying the guts of US $700-1000 for shipping

I'm not sure if Nu Look refurb diamond cut wheels, if not give these guys a shout before you write the old set off

If you really want a set from the states give me a shout, any time I'm ordering stuff I get my cousin who lives in LA to ship them to me, helps avoid massive tax/duty when they arrive here. Just need to know weights/dimensions to get a shipping cost.

There beyond repair at this stage, so new wheels it is.
Have emailed a few people around Europe who are suppliers of the wheels I am after, just waiting to hear back now with prices and times.
Might take you up on that offer Will, but shipping is still the major factor.

Try Northantstyres.co.uk I think thats right ??

They cater for all yanks and are very reasonable to deal with too.

Or also you could try in Classic American Magazine, out each month around 14th - 16th. Lots of various suppliers to the trade etc in it and Chevy are usually very easy to get.

Think I've got it sorted now, managed to find a company in Holland with a set in stock. Working out about the same price as bringing them in from the states. Cheers anyway.
