Directline cheap as chips.... For me anyhow.

Just over 200 quid for the Z4.

I use Campbells for a 98 M3 (£400). I think they were only interested because it was 10 years old, and the policy is limited mileage. They said it would be cheaper still if over 12 years.

Do you have more than 1 car? If so use Admiral multicar policy.

I've got my e39 M5 through Post Office Insurance.
It's about £700 if memory serves.
Thats for 30,000 miles per annum and class1 business for myself and her majesty.
Seems fairly reasonable to me.

Tesco looks good quoted me £650 which is by far the cheapest, although says car must have a Tracker (is that standard on an M5?) and the excesses are £1000 (!)

keep trying you should be able to get that without a tracker. a tracker is quite expensive and you have to pay an annual subscription but it is a good job.....................

Tracker will cost you from about £300 plus a subscription of £130 a year. Going of topic a bit but thought it made interesting reading, 102 cars recovered in october. http://www.tracker.co.uk/TRACKER/Documents/Recover...

Do Admiral now cover Northern Ireland? Pretty sure they didn't use to.

Worrying news if they do - might have to re-think my '2 cars' limit . . .

Hi,
Problem in this country is the insurance companies ride us at every opportunity.
I got the Mustang insured for me & the boss lady FC unlimited use work etc & unrestricted mileage for £490 pa.

Try the following people: Diamond Insurance Consultants in uk tel 01442 8254881 ask to speak to Sue, you never know it may well be worth it. All the bestsmile

Having had Open and Direct multiply my premium by 3 I have been on the hunt again and am left wondering! You guys getting good quotes in NI.... what sort of ages are you? At 28 and with 7 years NCB I really thought I would be beyond ridiculous insurance quotes but even the recommended guys are quoting me way in excess of £1k for a Boxster, even on a limited mileage policy!
