Some you may know may this format from Jon44w, basically if you spot a nice motor, post where, when and a phone pic if possible and its up to rest of us to try to identify the owner, and maybe get them signed up to any meetings we have next year.

I'll start the ball rolling with a Mustang, seen in Belfast

Not really a search, just friendly inquiry too see if we can encourage some owners of the great motors here in N Ireland to come along to any future events.

Going from to the orginal PH meet thread and the recent run and now this it would seem that these events are very well vetted to maintain exclusiveness and to exclude those people whose cars aren't up to scratch. Am I mistaken here, is it a case of if your car dosen't cut it you are not welcome?

Not at all, I've done most of the organizing for the main run and the follow up one to Galway, at no point did I say (or even think) to someone your not welcome while in the back of my mind thinking their car were not "up to scratch" we are all Pistonhead's that’s the point, a get together of like minded people. I've met a couple of people recently who hadn't a clue about our runs and are really up for any we organize next year as there a plenty of events for Jap or modified cars but very little for anyone with a genuine interest in factory finished models.

I think we are targeting Mustangs etc because you can be 99%sure that the owner is a petrolhead while more everyday cars regardless of cost may be A to B transport or company status perks.

I know where he parks at work - it sounds awesome btw! Maybe I'll leave him a wee note and tell him to sign up here.

Both these cars belong to the same person, guy who used to own a local radio station, lives quiet close to me so mite see if I can get him to attend any new runs in 2010.

There's also a green special edition 'bullet' mustang imported by phil agnew. You'll see it around the city centre most days as he uses it as his daily driver. Nice car - I had a run. Makes me want to get my cerb finished and on the road!

One of the Mustangs in question...

I've had the good fortune to be driven around in it a few times. The grind over speed bumps draws scrunched up expressions from people but my mate just laughs it off as a necessary consequence!

He gave up an M3 to own the Mustang, his dream car. He loves his motors!

As much as I'd never want to own a LHD car......given the choice between a Mustang like that and an M3, I'd definately be picking the Mustang.

The BMW just doesnt even come close on cool or style...or indeed sound.

And just think how easy the Mustang would be in terms of tuning :P

Hi,
I wish I had the 67 version but have to make do with the one below which is as good with its retro styling, modern performance & handling.
