After another dull F1 procession[ at Suzuka this time] I turned over to ITV4 to watch the final BTCC race from Brands Hatch. In a nailbiting race Colin Turkington clinched the BTCC title despite a cynical display of spoiling tactics from Matt Neal.It was clear that he was a very popular winner with most of his peers as well as the fans and media.Colin is from Portadown and we can all be proud of him.Next season I will be following every BTCC race in the callendar as there is more excitement in one lap than 90 minutes of F1.

Got to agree BTCC is way more entertaining than F1 ever will be.

Hats off to Plato for his race one win at Brands sheer class and to win all 3 races too.

A few minutes action between Button and Webber towards the end otherwise a complete yawn.I rest my case.
