Whilst on the topic of events...dont forget that Straightliners are coming over to hold a 1/4 mile event at St Angelo at the start of October.

And a little sooner...albeit shorter notice this Sunday, the 13th September.

Wayne is holding his racing events at Bishopscourt. All welcome.

is straightliners is just anything can race, or is it divided into weight/cc/NA/turbo classes?

Pretty much anything can race, although mostly road legal stuff.

There were a couple of road quads at it last year though and some drag bikes.

Generally its bracket racing style.

ie, 11.5, 12.5, 13.5 etc etc

So plenty of people have a good chance of performing well within a certain bracket, and not just the fastest type of any particular type of car, as thats generally the one with the most money.

So the game is to run as close to your bracket as possible....but dont break out, otherwise you get bumped into the next class.

Or you can just race for your own 1/4 times and forget the brackets.
