Hi Guys,

I have had a look but do not see a specific thread. I am presently insured with Greenlight with my Boxster but I am looking at a 911 and they will not cover that.

I have tried the usual pistonheads suggestions but NI means that they are typically far from good. Adrian Flux (for instance) was quoting me nearly £4k! Has anyone got suggestions of a specialist for a low mileage policy and who can actually accommodate NI?

I have been with AON the past 5 years for the TVR.

+1 AON

33, 6 points, £550 for 10yr old 911 with track cover and 8k miles/yr. Car has to be 10yrs+ for that classic insurance, however even their normal insurance quote was still very good - i struggle to keep under the mileage limit.

Admiral/AA/Elephant are coming out best for me.... tried direct line but they were nearly twice as much.

Maybe £1k is as low as I am going to get it!

Hello,

Did you call up for the quote or was it done over the internet?
Also did you put your membership to Piston Heads on there to get up to 15% discount?
If you would like me to look into it, Please Email me your details and I can arrange a callback.
Dan.

Ended up sticking with the Boxster but found insurance quotes were even higher for it than a 911!! I have been with Greenlight and their renewal was pretty much half that of anyone else (specialists included) but I tried, on the off chance, the scheme run via my employer which goes through Open and Direct - beat your quote or £30 in your pocket. So true to the ad - they beat my renewal by £30 and I am a happy bunny! So don't rule out those 'perks' you get from a large employer - they can be well worth exploring!
