Discussion
I have been communicating with Colon about my post Hello Miss, and he feels I owe you in the Northern Ireland region an apology, If I caused any offense I'm sorry it was just ment to be a bit of a laugh, sorry.
Hi Gordon,
Well if you put it like that, then yes I did, but I did warn you that feelings were high on what you did.
You were raised yesterday at our monthly meeting, great turn out by the way for November, see attached photo.
All agreed you crossed the line, as for you welcome to join in on one of the TVRCC N. Ireland Region track days, you were invited this year according to Jigs (He who is banned from PH) added. You are more than welcome to join in new year if you wish, the more TVR's out the better. As for them being a bundle of laughs, well what other region can hold a Track Day, pay for, without having to ask the TVR Club to dip in and help with costs.
I have run the track days now for over 13 years, only 2 crashes, no injuries and all are safely run. Not bad, but then again all can be better if more take part.
It was not just me, but over 15 people whom I spoke with have requested your Sorry.
That's all it would have taken one simple post with one word in Sorry. We all make mistakes, it's the prove of a real man or woman to stand up and say Sorry, I got it wrong.
I have done this a number of times in the past and expect to again in the future. But then I know I am not perfect, nor is the club or region, but we are still here and still strong in numbers
Best regards to you and your region, enjoy your TVR, be safe and happy,
Colin Logan
Not sure it needed that level of chastisement though
Once again Sorry, Gordon

Interesting post Big Col.
I was a bit annoyed when your last thread was closed down – it was hilarious! It sparked the most activity on the NI forum ever.
It was just a pity that ColinL had a sense of humour failure.
Surely it was a valid point as there haven’t been many posts on here of late regarding the TVRCC activities - and I must say it was disappointing not to see any replies to Markh’s request to know if the run was still on the other week.
ColinL – stick to being the TVRCC RO, running the track days and keep us up to date with what’s happening – but there’s no need to try to control this forum.
As was picked up in a post by RND on 22nd September – ‘FREE SPEACH MR L !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’. You’ve nearly started a fight on another thread – bit of a trend there FFS.
Any more of your control freakery and I’ll be asking to have you banned!

Its that time again, Sprint has just arrived (thanks Postie) on flicking though I see the AGM (pages 6/7)article, and while reading I see a part which makes me smile......and I quote from the RoCo section. Regional Organizer Co Ordinator to assist Ro etc etc.....attributes and skills needed for this role: 'A Monty Python type of sense of humour'
so maybe no apology is required after all ?
or do I dare suggest that maybe Big Col deserves an Apology, or is this taking it too far, just a thought?

Well G7TVR if you turn up at the meeting you will know what going on, as for the run the other week, well that was being organised by A N Other, not myself there fore I could not comment on it.
If you don't like the way things are run, you all know what to do, turn and ask to be RO, but then the big Lazy can't be bothered will come out and heh, well. Am easy will stand aside for the person who wants to do it.
Thank you for the Sorry Big Col,
Now take yourself back to more serious topics like the cars themselves...
Enjoy,
Colin L
See its spelt with one O in it Big Col

Colin, come on how about ?, have read sprint and looks as if Python is allowed, so next time you want to beat your chest be sure of your facts, sounds like you are annoying lots of people these days.so maybe no apology is required after all ?

anyway enjoy
Of course Big Col, if the Exige / Elise tax is sorted you can bring that or if the Tuscan Racer Project is finished you can bring that one, or maybe you just want to come on over to the Irish Side...
You were invited on the 28th Jan 2008, you did say you would do the May Bank Holiday track day, but did not make it, so plan to save those pennies and make the trip in 2009
Bring some friends have a laugh, who knows I may even buy you a pint of the black stuff.
That's Guniness, by the way.
Still no email in my inbox with ref to TVR today, strange that, oh yes my back has no pain in it at all, did not even hurt my feet stepping over those knives either!!
