Tried posting this earlier but for some reason, firstly someone added text in brackets after my reference to Lewis Hamilton and secondly the post was completely removed, so incase there is a worm working away adding disgusting comments after the F1 champions name I have reposted under a new title.

Anyway, as a Northern Ireland Pistonheader I would like to congratulate_Lewis on his first F1 world championship title. As someone involved in high performance sport I would like to say that McLaren with their identification, development and management of_Lewis was an example and an inspiration to us all involved in any sport - absolutley fantastic.

I'm sure all the NI forum members will add their words of congratulations to a truly great champion and defy Big Col with our voices and support.

Well done to both team and driver, after the ropey decisions that went aginst them this season I thought they deserved it.

Still, have to feel a bit sorry for Massa. He was gracious in defeat.

Not gutted for any other team in anyway shape or form. From the very first race at Sepang, which I was at the stewards had it in for McClaren. Penalty for this and that. It gave the Eccleston money making machine the type of finish they desired. A Hamilton win with three races to go would not have fitted the agenda.
I do however think Massa is in the F1 heirarchy as is Kubica who will be one to watch next year.
It has just brought about the awareness to the masses of how much funding, nuturing, dedication and damned outright ability of the drivers.
Bless em all!

Agree with Bob on that well said,

Lewis had it all sewed up long ago if the FIA Stewarts did not make silly rule calls.

Spa was the best race of the year, so much tyre to tyre driving, just like Kirkistown RND eh..

Massa will have his day, great drive all year,
