Hi all the next meetings for the region are as follows:

Saturday 4th October @ 1PM La Mon House Hotel, we may go from this with a bit of lunch. Tales of GTR Day at Silverstone from Dep RO Bob

18th & 19th October ROI + NI get together. Details to follow

Saturday 1st November @ 1PM La Mon House Hotel

No December meet.

Saturday 10th January 2009 @ 1PM La Mon House Hotel
If Snow permitts!!! Date will be confirmed normal Post-Christmas Dinner
last years was great night out.

Has any one ever been to the Dunkeld hilton?
Lots of nasty speed ramps on the drive down in!
I was there in July for the Game fair in Perth. The foods not so hot so I would say not to eat there,Great little pub in the town on the bridge. Not like much from the outside not fancy on the inside BUT the food is FIRST CLASS!

Me and "her in doors" where there about a month ago and I would not take those "saggies" up to quick, it would scrape my chim on a few of the ramps, I would recommend to take a few packets of crisps with you as the food is eatable but it is hard to see it on the plate (well presented but not a lot of it)

No need for that! I genuinely appreciated the information you provided regarding the hotel in question.
The Bowler was to get over the ramps you so kindly informed of.
Any information on experiences of hotels that another pistonheader may go to is welcome in my book.
