alright lads and lasses

just concamplating moving from the uk over to ireland so basicly just after a bit of info realy

i no the house prices and cost of living over there is quite expensive does the wages compancete for this

what sort of work is there out there in the building trade , plaster/joiner .building work and does it pay alright to be able to live ok

what sort of taxs do you lads pay on owning cars etc if i was to bring a car over from the uk with me

is things quite layed back over there compared to the uk ie the police aint complete swines for motorist

or does that mainly depend where you go like anywhere else

good idea or bad idea realy

any advice would be much aprreicted

Ireland or Northern Ireland ??


Very big difference in terms of everything you've asked about. The only common thing, is both are expensive lol.

If its N. Ireland the Taxes are the same, better schools through..

As for the building trade, at present just like the rest of the UK islands its slowing down.

Cost of living food and goods,is no higher here than the rest of the UK.

Cost of fuel is a different story and that effects the cost of heating a home.
