Hi,

We have a 4 year MOT here in N.Ireland, yet in the mainland they have 3 years.

My new car is an english registration and I beleive that I won`t have to MOT the car til 4 years are up.

However, how does this work if I drive to England between years 3 and 4?

Will the fact that the new owner is registered as living in N.Ireland handle this?

I honestly don`t know how this works..

James

If the car is registered to you in the Occupied 6 Counties then it wont need an MOT until it is 4 years old.

No axe to grind either way here, but with comments like that I reckon that make you a tt,, why not stick to the 'Free state' forum

I`m sure most people (no matter what religious background) would see that as offensive.

I was making light of the comment to show how sectarian some people still are.. loser
