It can be either,depending what you want. for insurance its better to have it fitted permanent cost = from 85p per day.

Not sure if you're the same guy that posted over on RMS a while back ( which unfortunately didnt receive a huge response )

Ive often considered it myself...but my daily driver is a junker, and my "good" car is usually very well secured, but also off the road quite a lot...so find it hard to justify such a device, as it would be veyr rare its in a position to be stolen.

The problim is that most people will complain and give out once the car is taken, then phone me and say i wish i had one of your devices fitted.
If you value your pride and joy its the way to go i have 2 fitted one on the daily grind and one on the Beast. and i get discount on me insurance.
