Hi,

I know that most of us complain in N.Ireland about insurance prices (with good reason) but I`ve been trying to price low-mileage car insurance on the internet without much success.

I plan to purchase a Group 20 car with mileage limited to 4k (at most) but on-line quoting systems don`t care if I do 4k or 40k - same price.

Do I need to speak to a specialise? Any recommendations?

Thanks,

KJ

ive an audi s6 (group 20) + a mondeo ST200 (group 16) + i just alternate between elephant and bell every year. They always seem to beat each others prices when u change back + forth.

i'm 33 with 6 points and a 911 - was beginning to despair after buying the car and couldn't find cover! AON less than half the nearest quote even with trackday cover, albeit limited mileage.

Greenlight, cheapest for me by miles.

I found that when I increased the mileage from 4000 to 10,000 when seeking cover that the price went down in some cases.

Don’t restrict yourself to low mileage policies, they may be more expensive in some cases.

Try Quinn too. Found them quite good for my 911 and GTi.
