My TVR Chimaera for sale soon

Hi all

I hope this doesn't contravene the 'no advertising in the forums' rule, but my 1994 Chimaera 400 will be for sale soon.

Basically it's a good solid reliable car; I've had it for 22 months and it's been well looked after by Greg Connolly during that time. A couple of niggles to be sorted out then it'll be in the Autotrader, hopefully in 2/3 weeks. If anyone is interested they can e-m me at the address on my profile.

No, not sold yet.

2 weeks on Autotrader website and not as much as a single phone call, so I've reduced the price. It's now the cheapest Chimaera within 200 miles. I might reduce the price once more and then if there's still no interest I'll probably just keep it for another year and get a cheapish big comfy saloon for the winter.

I might try the PH classifieds - do you think many PH'ers in NI look there?

PHer's from all over - it's not segregated into regions.
I think a couple of mainland ones have bought cars from owners over here.
You can but try since it's free. Nothing to stop you running both concurrently rather than waiting until you feel Auto Trader has run it's course.

Fair enough, I'll give it a try. I just assumed that no-one in GB would bother coming here to get a car and also that there'd be very few people in NI actually looking at the PH classifieds.

Also - I've just received yet another scam e-m looking to buy my car; this time from a Jerry Walker, who claims to be running grarages in Dublin and the Netherlands. He will send full price to my bank account, plus extra to cover shipping etc etc. Just the same as previous e-ms from a Jonatan Sivgard and an Alex McGrady, who also claims to run garages in Dublin and Netherlands. Funny that?

Just a warning to any other PH'ers - not that any would be daft enough to be taken in by this I hope, but you never know.

4 TVR's sold to people in England over the past 6 months. All were on PH.

Also post as many photo's as you can.
