All Ireland Italian Motor gathering. June 9th Cultra Museum
Discussion
Hi everyone.
It is to be held at Cultra Transport Museum just outside Belfast and they have as good as agreed to let us hold it outside the museum doors on the semi circle which is fantastic.
They are not going to charge us to hold the gathering and we are negociating a reduced price for entry to the actual Museum.
We had to book the date there and then so I do hope this suits everyone and apologise if it doesn't. We had no choice and didn't want to miss this opportunity to have the show at such a prime place. It may indeed lead to bigger things in the future.
"ALL" types and "ALL" years of Italian vehicle are very welcome to attend. All we ask is that if you intend to go please drop a post on this thread as it will greatly help give us an idea of figures.
This is our BIG event so please put it in your diary and book the day off work if you have to, so you can support us.
Last years event brought 56 cars from across Ireland. Lets top this and if you have a bike or anything else Italian, please come along. You would be made very welcome.

Ok further details on the event. We have confirmed that all the vehicles will be located inside the transport Museums grounds and the Cultra people are very keen for us to hold the event. There used to be Classic events held there a few years ago with over 300 vehicles attending. Our event "this year" may not reach those heights but we do hope to top the 60+ vehicles we had attend the Tidy Doffer last year. I know it's 20 miles further than last year for all the people from Southern Ireland but I really do believe it will be worth it.
Everyone with an Italian vehicle (OF ANY YEAR) will be made very welcome and we have decided to extend the event to other makes of vehicle. In the case of other makes I would ask owners to contact me at secretary@niimc.net Other Clubs may also be able to attend as we have more than enough space but again please contact me first by email or on 07900211644.
For anyone who has never been to Cultra museum here is the link to their site www.uftm.org.uk/
Oh and we are hopefully arranging that anyone who attends the event gets Half price entry to the museum.
There are also food facilities at the Museum and it is a great place for a full day out. Don't forget there is also the Folk Museum as well.
We really hope as many of you can make it as possible. I will try to post any more details as we get them on here but it's not always possible so please do take a couple of mins and drop into the forum of www.niimc.net for updates.

Hi all. Just had it confirmed that there will be an original Lancia Sratos Group 4 with full Alitalia livery coming to the event along with an original Fiat 131 Abarth. They are coming all the way from Tipperary. It's worth coming to the show just to see these let alone all the rest of the excellent vehicles that are going to be there.

Just heard about your Italian Car show next Saturday. I have a Alfa SZ would you be interested in it attending?
I, for one, would be pretty disappointed if you didn't bring your Alfa SZ along! (can't think of a 'more appropiate' car for an Italian Car show!)so, Hope to see it there, cheers
Hi, the SZ is red which I believe is the only colour SZ'z were ever offically painted in.
RZ's, the drop top version was sold in three colours Black, Yellow or Red. There was a RZ in Northern Ireland earlier in the year but I heard the car was for sale but don't know if it was sold or not.
Hope to see you on Saturday morning.
